Job Summary

As a Data Analytics Intern at Uber’s Hyderabad Center of Excellence, you will support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis and operational insights. You’ll build and optimize reporting processes, automate data collection workflows, and perform ad hoc analyses to keep our operations engine running smoothly. Working closely with cross-functional teams across Rides and Eats, you’ll translate complex data into compelling stories and actionable recommendations. This role demands a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving customer support experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for Rider and Driver support teams
• Automate data gathering processes and integrate real-time models for operational efficiency
• Review and refine data models and SQL queries; perform ad hoc data analyses
• Communicate key insights through data visualizations and presentations to drive strategic decisions
• Collaborate with cross-geography teams to pilot new support processes and tools

Qualifications & Skills

• Actively pursuing B.Tech or Integrated Dual Degree (graduating 2026) in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
• Exceptional Excel and data management expertise
• Proficiency in SQL; Python or R preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset
• Excellent organization, time-management, and communication abilities
• Demonstrated self-starter attitude and capability to independently source and analyze data
• Interest or experience in leveraging AI tools for data cleaning, analysis, or automation
