Job Summary
Join HSBC as an Operations Support Apprentice in the GCOO Payment Services team for a 12-month fixed-term appointment. You will support daily operations and administration of capital account transactions, regulatory filings, and vendor coordination to ensure efficiency and exceptional customer service. This role involves driving process automation initiatives, maintaining internal control standards, and ensuring compliance with the Apprentices Act and operational risk policies. You’ll work onsite in our Mumbai office, collaborating with global operations teams to deliver high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations and administration of capital account transactions and queries, including regulatory filings and RBI liaison
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely, accurate completion of assigned tasks
- Assist in automating business processes to improve team efficiency
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards and implement audit points and regulatory requirements
- Adhere to Group compliance policies and manage operational risk scenarios related to the role
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized university (mark sheets and provisional/degree certificate required)
- Fresh graduates within 0–5 years of graduation; no prior government-regulated apprenticeship completed
- Strong people and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Customer-centric approach and high level of integrity
- Proficiency in process documentation and basic automation tools
