Job Summary
The Compliance & Risk Analyst supports Transact + CBORD’s security compliance and risk management programs across products and IT environments. The role focuses on executing risk assessments, supporting security control reviews, and coordinating internal and external audit activities. The analyst helps maintain adherence to frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, StateRAMP, and FedRAMP by managing documentation, assessments, and remediation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support risk assessments and security control reviews across business and IT environments.
- Assist with evidence collection, control testing, and audit readiness for third‑party and internal audits.
- Maintain organized compliance documentation and track action items and status for management reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams to respond to auditor inquiries and remediate identified gaps.
- Help evaluate effectiveness of technical and administrative security controls and contribute to compliance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Stay updated on changes to relevant regulatory and industry frameworks and flag issues early while working independently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 1–2 years’ experience in networking, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure (preferred).
- Proficiency with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools and strong analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Solid communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Preferred: 2+ years in information security, risk management, or compliance with working knowledge of SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, StateRAMP, or similar standards.
- Experience supporting external audits, evidence collection, and familiarity with GRC tools such as AuditBoard is an advantage.
