Job Summary
The Graduate Apprentice Trainee role at Tata Motors offers fresh engineering graduates hands-on exposure to core manufacturing operations and automotive product development. As a trainee, you will work under experienced professionals across plants in Pune and Sanand, learning end-to-end processes from production to quality. The program focuses on building strong technical, process, and problem-solving foundations to make candidates industry-ready and employable for long-term roles in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day activities in production, maintenance, supply chain, and quality functions.
- Assist in manufacturing planning, supervision, and execution of shop-floor operations.
- Contribute to product and component development, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document learnings, reports, and process data.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, ECE, EEE, Civil, or Electronics Engineering (2024/2025 batch).
- Minimum 60% in 10th, 12th, and Engineering; no backlogs/ATKT and max 2-year education gap.
- Must not have signed any prior Apprenticeship contract (NATS).
- Strong fundamentals in core engineering, analytical skills, and interest in manufacturing/automotive domain.
- Good communication, willingness to work on shop floor, and openness to learn continuously.
