Job Summary
Stryker is hiring a Data & Analytics Intern in Gurugram to support the build-out of a unified data and analytics platform for global operations. The intern will work on ETL, data integration, and dashboard development while gaining exposure to Azure, Databricks, and modern analytics practices. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates in computer science, engineering, data analytics, or related fields who want hands-on experience in a leading medical technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in extracting, transforming, and loading ERP and operational data into a unified data platform (ETL).
- Support data integration and transformation activities using Databricks with PySpark and SQL.
- Help design and develop Power BI dashboards for cross-divisional analytics and reporting.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and data pipelines to improve performance and scalability.
- Support creation and maintenance of data documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows, and metadata.
- Assist in implementing data quality checks, validation scripts, and tracking of data issues.
- Learn and contribute to CI/CD processes for analytics workflows and dashboards, using Git for version control.
- Participate in discussions on data architecture, automation, and dashboard enhancements with the analytics team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Pursuing or recently completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data analytics, statistics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts and cloud platforms; Azure and Databricks exposure is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferred: Exposure to Azure Cloud, experience using Git, and understanding of databases, data modeling, and data quality principles.
