Job Summary

As a Software Engineer Intern at Electronic Arts (EA), you will be part of a vibrant, global team responsible for developing and supporting next-generation entertainment platforms and games. The role offers hands-on experience with coding, automation, and scalable systems in a world-class gaming company. Interns contribute to real projects, collaborate with industry experts, and gain exposure to leading technologies and practices in the gaming industry. Key Responsibilities

• Build and integrate tools to automate and enhance development processes
• Create, maintain, and improve simulation code in C++/Scala to support applications and features
• Perform stress and load testing, develop test designs, and set up distributed test environments
• Execute tests, analyze results, and report findings accurately
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and automation issues
• Collaborate with team members to track and resolve technical issues
• Communicate test status and results within the team
• Adhere to EA’s policies, NDAs, and security guidelines
• Efficiently manage multiple tasks, ensure prompt reporting and issue escalation​

Qualifications & Skills

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Scala, or Python
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, or GCP/Azure)
• Understanding of scalable system architecture and end-to-end system design
• Problem-solving passion and creativity
• Familiarity with visualization tools (Grafana) and database technologies (MySQL, Redis)
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and deliver high-quality results
• Initiative and willingness to experiment and innovate​
