Job Summary

The Associate Application Developer at Cargill is responsible for maintaining, integrating, and implementing software applications within the organization. Under close supervision, the role involves performing application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth and stable deployment of new software and updates. This position supports the continuous improvement of software systems and contributes to achieving consistent business outcomes through reliable application management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain application configurations to meet user and business requirements.
• Support programming, configuration, testing, and deployment of application updates and fixes.
• Handle user communication and respond to routine application support requests.
• Conduct basic application support tasks to ensure operational stability.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business partners to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Analyze and resolve assigned incident tickets and user requests.
• Assist in managing relationships and tasks with software vendors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in application development or support.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle and application management.
• Familiarity with testing, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Analytical mindset with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
