Job Summary
The Associate Maintenance and Support Engineer is responsible for defect fixing, product knowledge building, and serving as a subject matter expert in specific product areas. The role involves the entire software development and defect fixing lifecycle, engaging regularly with stakeholders like customers, partners, and product teams. Candidates will work in a collaborative culture that encourages best practice sharing, ongoing feedback, and continual process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate and review timelines for maintenance and support activities
- Intake, analyze, and follow up on support requests as per DN procedures
- Ownership of technical environment setup and assistance for peers
- Ensure timely problem and incident management according to SLAs
- Document tickets, validate technical documents, and share best practices
- Handle change requests, optimizations, and provide deep technical support as needed
- Organize and deliver product and process trainings to team members
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
- 0-3 years’ experience in relevant field
- Strong understanding of Java and related tools
- Troubleshooting experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases
- Hands-on with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Webservices, REST, and SOAP APIs
- Excellent English communication skills; high accountability
- Willingness to work hybrid (office/WFH) and 24/7 on-call
- Nice to have: Experience with Banking/ATM/EFT/Base24, Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes
