Job Summary

The Associate Software Engineer – Fullstack at BOLD will be responsible for designing and developing highly optimized web-scale products that enhance user experience across BOLD’s suite of career platforms, such as MyPerfectResume.com, Resume-Now.com, and LiveCareer.com. This role demands collaboration with product management, UX, analytics, and other teams to deliver scalable solutions using modern web technologies. You will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of robust web applications that empower global job seekers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop web-scale products using best coding practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for web applications.
• Build reusable libraries and front-end components for scalable use.
• Develop new user-facing features with modern UI frameworks.
• Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and optimized.
• Participate in product review meetings to suggest improvements.
• Proactively identify issues to improve performance, usability, and security.
• Deploy applications on AWS or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with the product and design teams on feature implementations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of architecture and development processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong experience in full-stack web software development.
• Solid foundation in Object-Oriented design principles.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with React JS and modern front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node JS.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and consumption.
• Experience in building adaptive/responsive UI using modern web technologies.
• Exposure to Azure, distributed computing, and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of web performance, optimization, and security.
