Job Summary
The Apprentice, Data Operations role at S&P Global involves collecting, analyzing, and managing financial data from multiple public and internal sources. The position provides hands-on exposure to global market research, enabling candidates to develop a deep understanding of corporate finance and data processes. This is an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates to acquire essential skills for a successful transition into professional data operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and manage financial data with accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize public and internal resources to synthesize and summarize relevant company and market information.
- Support data workflows and ensure quality outcomes as per standard guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and manage communications effectively.
- Troubleshoot issues and assist in improving data processes and tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BBA/BMS/BCom) or PGDM/MBA in Finance (2025 pass-outs only).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and data analytics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work rotational shifts including nights; adaptable to global time zones.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
