Job Summary
Zoho is hiring hands-on Software Debug Engineers who are passionate about troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving production issues across infrastructure, deployment pipelines, applications, and runtime environments. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work in fast-paced settings, and close collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance. Candidates should be willing to learn systems architecture, work in shifts, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues across multiple layers (infrastructure to application).
- Learn and understand the architecture and operation of various system components and services.
- Communicate clearly and coordinate with different stakeholders during incident investigations.
- Work closely with developers and operations to ensure reliability and quick turnaround for fixes.
- Ready to work shifts as per business requirements.
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
- Contribute to all phases of the product development lifecycle.
- Write testable, efficient code and participate in software releases and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience (freshers welcome).
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills; coding experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn new architectures and technologies quickly.
- Strong communication and writing skills preferred.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
