Job Summary

TransUnion is hiring a C++ Developer for its Model Development team to build and maintain high-quality software solutions. The role involves developing C/C++ programs in Unix and Windows environments while following SDLC best practices. You will collaborate with stakeholders across geographies to translate functional requirements into technical implementations. This hybrid role requires working from the office at least two days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop C/C++ programs independently on Unix and Windows platforms
• Create program specifications from functional documents
• Design and execute test scenarios for verification and validation
• Follow SDLC processes for development, QA, and audit compliance
• Coordinate with global stakeholders for requirement clarification
• Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions

Qualifications & Skills

• 0–2 years of experience in C and C++ development
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ on Unix and Windows environments
• Good knowledge of Unix shell scripting
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Exposure to Git, Maven, or other DevOps tools is a plus
• Knowledge of Python, R, Java, or Ab-Initio is an added advantage
• Understanding of the credit industry is desirable
