Job Summary
The Associate Engineer, Software Engineering at ResMed is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend and frontend healthcare solutions. This role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, and cutting-edge interoperability projects to improve awareness and diagnosis of conditions such as sleep apnea. The position collaborates with global teams, leverages AI-assisted development, and directly impacts patient outcomes through innovation in digital health.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and deploy backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Contribute to frontend development using ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Design, implement, and test RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Write unit and integration tests using TDD methodology.
- Engage in CI/CD, DevOps, and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with teams using AI tools for code, documentation, and testing.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
- 0–3 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Git.
- Preferred: Experience with ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, databases (RDBMS or NoSQL), Agile, and DevOps.
- Strong communication, paired programming, and innovative problem-solving skills.
