Job Summary
As a BI Engineer (Power BI) Associate in PwC’s Operate managed services team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and BI solutions to support our clients’ analytics needs. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams to optimize reporting, ensure data governance, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires hands-on experience in Data Analytics programs, strong technical expertise in BI tools, and a passion for solving complex business problems. You will also contribute to incident, change, and problem management processes, upholding SLAs and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced BI reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense
- Build and maintain data ingestion, storage, and transformation pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark
- Implement data governance frameworks covering data quality, metadata management, lineage, and security
- Review ticket quality, perform status reporting, and manage incident/change/problem workflows
- Optimize managed data and analytics programs to ensure efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Uphold SLAs and quality standards through rigorous review and continuous process improvement
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering managed data and analytics services
- Proficiency in BI tools: Power BI (primary), Tableau, Qlik, Cognos
- Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel (macros)
- Experience building secure, repeatable data structures and pipelines
- Knowledge of data governance practices (Master Data Management, metadata, lineage)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
- Certifications in Tableau, Power BI, or a cloud platform are a plus
