Job Summary
This role is for a fresher ServiceNow Developer who will design, configure, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform while learning ITSM best practices. The position focuses on scripting with JavaScript, working on modules like Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog, and collaborating with senior engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. It offers a strong foundation to build a long-term career on a leading enterprise ITSM platform within NTT DATA’s global practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- Create and maintain client scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, and workflows on the platform.
- Support testing, documentation, deployment activities, and collaborate with senior developers and functional teams.
- Continuously upgrade technical skills through training, certifications, and hands-on work on real-world projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript is mandatory, with familiarity in HTML/CSS, relational databases, SQL, and software development fundamentals preferred.
- Understanding of ITSM or cloud concepts, and exposure to ITIL or ticketing/workflow tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
