Job Summary

As an Application Engineer | Java Developer at NTT DATA, you will design, develop, and maintain Java applications using industry best practices and modern frameworks. You will engage in the development of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement, test, and optimize production-ready software. The role offers hands-on experience with Agile processes and cloud environments, emphasizing code quality, scalability, and innovation for enterprise-grade business solutions​.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
• Ensure code quality with SonarQube and follow coding standards
• Deploy and support applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Collaborate for CI/CD pipeline efficiency
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize live applications
• Participate in Agile ceremonies with cross-functional teams

Qualifications & Skills

• 0–3 years of experience in Java, CSS, Agile methodology
• Proficiency with Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with application deployment on AWS
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
