Job Summary
This role is for a Responsive Web Developer Trainee within Gallagher’s platform team in Chandigarh, India, focused on building responsive, user-friendly web applications that work seamlessly across devices and platforms. The trainee will learn modern frontend technologies and best practices while contributing to real-world projects in a global organization that values innovation, teamwork, and long-term careers. The position is ideal for 2024 tech graduates with strong fundamentals in web technologies and a passion for learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and contribute to the development of responsive, cross-device web applications.
- Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic Angular to implement user interfaces under guidance from senior developers.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and translate them into functional web components.
- Debug and fix basic UI issues, ensuring usability and consistency across browsers and platforms.
- Continuously enhance skills and stay updated with modern web development practices and tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Appeared or appearing in B.Tech, MCA, MSc (Computer Science), BCA, or BSc (Computer Science) exams, preferably in 2024, with CGPA not less than 6.5.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a basic understanding of Angular.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with enthusiasm to learn new technologies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Quick learner with adaptability to evolving tools, frameworks, and project needs.
