Job Summary
The Junior Engineer – Component Engineering will support manufacturing teams by managing and validating electronic components used in production. The role involves ensuring data accuracy, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to meet technical and operational requirements. The position is based in Pune and is suitable for candidates with a background in electronics and a strong interest in component engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and validate technical attributes for electronic components and verify manufacturer part numbers to create complete orderable parts.
- Coordinate with sites and customers to identify alternate components by comparing mandatory and specific technical parameters.
- Understand customer and site requirements to develop project templates and ensure compliance with agreed policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs and reports, and manage product configuration and manufacturing or customer requirements.
- Act as an interface between program management, engineering, manufacturing and materials teams to ensure all changes are properly documented.
Qualifications & Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the EMS industry.
- B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering, EEE, or Electronics.
- Knowledge of MS Office and Outlook with strong understanding of technical subjects.
- Very good analytical and logical reasoning abilities with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in night shifts.
