Job Summary
Technip Energies is looking for a Graduate Trainee – BI & Analytics to join its Global Business Services team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This entry-level role focuses on building skills in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting. The selected candidate will work closely with senior team members, contributing to data transformation, visualization, and analytics initiatives that support global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in consuming, transforming, and modeling data from multiple sources for analytics and reporting.
- Develop and maintain insightful dashboards using Power BI to communicate data-driven insights.
- Apply and practice technical languages such as SQL, DAX, M, and/or Python in real-world data projects.
- Gain exposure to Microsoft Azure services and support cloud-based data tasks.
- Document technical and functional aspects of data models and reports in compliance with data quality and governance standards.
- Support data quality (DQ) initiatives by monitoring and enhancing reporting accuracy.
- Demonstrate problem-solving ability and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve business goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data/Business Analytics.
- Academic or project experience with SQL (required).
- Understanding of data modeling concepts such as Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eager to learn and adapt in a data-driven environment.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Python, Power BI, Tableau, or cloud platforms (Azure).
- Knowledge of D3.js or other visualization libraries.
- Certifications such as Azure Fundamentals (PL-300/DA-100).
- Participation in hackathons or academic data challenges.
- Internship experience in analytics, data, or BI domains.
