Job Summary

Dexcom is seeking a Software Test Development Engineer who will contribute to advancing glucose monitoring technology and personalized health solutions. The role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts, participating in design and requirements reviews, and validating software tools and commercial products. You will closely collaborate with engineering teams, analyze test failures, and ensure software meets regulatory standards. The position offers a unique opportunity to impact global health through innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in software requirements and design reviews
• Create software verification plans, protocols, and risk analyses
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
• Validate functionality, interface, and configuration of software and tools
• Record and track issues in the bug tracking system
• Analyze failures and collaborate on root-cause investigations
• Document validation results and report test progress
• Modify test protocols as required by changes in requirements
• Adhere to software development and cybersecurity regulations
• Work collaboratively with other engineers

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Java and Python for automation
• Knowledge of iOS and Android apps, automation tools (Appium, Xcode, Android Studio)
• Experience with terminal commands (Linux/Mac/ADB)
• Familiarity with Git, Jfrog, and defect tracking tools (Jira)
• Experience in manual and automated software testing methodologies
