Job Summary

Citi is seeking a Java Developer to join their team in Pune, working in a hybrid setup. The role involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of new and revised application systems and programs in collaboration with the technology team. The candidate will contribute to system analysis, debugging, coding, and identifying solutions while adhering to industry standards and business practices. Key Responsibilities

• Participate in application systems analysis and programming activities.
• Identify system enhancements and analyze issues to recommend and implement solutions.
• Utilize knowledge of business processes, technical areas, and industry standards to solve complex issues.
• Conduct testing, debugging, write code based on design specifications, and use script tools.
• Develop working knowledge across Citi’s information systems and technology standards.
• Apply sound ethical judgment and manage compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• 0-2 years of relevant programming and debugging experience in business applications.
• Working knowledge of Java programming and application development standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and recommend process improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
