Job Summary

Amazon is seeking Software Development Engineer I (SDE I) through University Talent Acquisition to join its dynamic team. This role involves building innovative products, solving complex problems at scale, and contributing directly to next-generation technology at Amazon. SDEs work in agile teams on distributed, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems impacting millions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver new products and services.
• Develop scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems and innovative technologies.
• Design, code, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions for complex business problems.
• Use knowledge of algorithms, distributed systems, and large-scale engineering to solve technical challenges.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in programming (Java, C++, Python, or related).
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, problem solving, and coding best practices.
• Ability to tackle ambiguous problems and manage priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Prior technical internship, distributed systems experience, or advanced optimization/math skills are a plus.
