Job Summary

Pega is hiring Associate Software Engineers to join its Internal Development Experience (IDE) tribe. The role focuses on strengthening DevOps capabilities and CI/CD infrastructure that supports global Pega engineering teams. You will help build scalable automation pipelines, improve deployment reliability, and manage cloud-native environments across AWS and Kubernetes. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with modern DevOps tooling while learning directly from experienced engineers. The position is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about automation and software delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Support DevOps tooling across AWS Cloud and Kubernetes (EKS)
• Manage artifacts via JFrog Artifactory
• Automate workflows using Python and Shell scripting
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance
• Implement observability using Grafana, Splunk, and CloudWatch
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with global developers and SRE teams

Qualifications & Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in DevOps or software development
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, EKS)
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Artifactory or similar tools
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting
• Understanding of monitoring/logging tools
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Basic Gradle/Java knowledge is a plus
• Kubernetes certifications are advantageous
