Job Summary

CGI Junior Financial Analyst will support the finance team with day-to-day reporting, analysis, and compliance activities. The role involves assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts while maintaining accurate documentation and records. Working closely with senior analysts, the analyst will gain exposure to key financial processes, develop analytical skills, and contribute to data-driven decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing periodic financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and prepare concise summaries.
• Support senior analysts on ongoing financial projects, presentations, and ad‑hoc requests.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, files, and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with financial data.
• Good understanding of basic financial statements and accounting concepts.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Internships or academic projects in finance or accounting are an added advantage.
