Job Summary

The Associate Software Engineer will support Kaleris Managed Services by handling day-to-day operational tasks across Application Support, EDI, Business Intelligence, and Infrastructure. The role involves monitoring and supporting the N4 Terminal Operating System and related components, troubleshooting incidents under guidance, and performing routine checks on servers, databases, and services. The position is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking a structured path to become independent engineers across Application, EDI, BI, or Infrastructure tracks.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the N4 Terminal Operating System and related applications, including job monitoring, configuration checks, and log reviews.
• Assist with EDI message deployments, partner configurations, message-flow validation, and troubleshooting common EDI issues.
• Support BI dashboards and reports (Power BI, Crystal Reports, SQL queries), including data validation, troubleshooting, and minor enhancements.
• Perform routine checks on servers, databases, and application services while gaining exposure to Windows/Linux and cloud environments.
• Respond to customer incidents and service requests within SLAs, participate in shift/on-call rotations, and document solutions and runbooks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; apprenticeship or foundational Managed Services experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in customer-facing environments under guidance.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bonus (not mandatory): Linux, SQL, networking fundamentals, Python, Power BI, and cloud concepts.
