Job Summary

The IT Security Analyst I – Risk Assurance supports FIS’s risk management and information security teams by assisting in implementing and auditing industry standards (ISO/IEC 27001:2013, SOC Reporting, TISAX), executing risk assessments, and contributing to documentation and issue resolution. The position involves analyzing control gaps, supporting continuous improvement, and acting as a liaison between the user community and IT security. Analysts work both independently and collaboratively to ensure security measures are maintained and enhanced in one of the world’s largest FinTech companies.​

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and audit of industry standards including ISO/IEC 27001:2013, SOC Reporting, and TISAX.
• Execute and coordinate risk assessment activities for Data Protection, Information Security, and Enterprise Risk Management.
• Review significant events and provide preventive action steps.
• Identify control gaps, propose process efficiencies, and support continuous improvement in controls.
• Create and manage information security documentation in compliance with company requirements.
• Respond to and resolve information security-related queries and issues.
• Implement information security controls and administer vendor security systems.
• Provide regular status reports, develop analysis scenarios, and document response procedures.​

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent mix of education, training, and work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of network technologies (protocols, design concepts, access control).
• Understanding of security technologies (encryption, data protection, privilege access, etc.).​
