Job Summary

Emerson’s Network Engineer will design, implement, and support wired and wireless networks for DeltaV and IT systems at the Nashik site. The role covers Windows server/domain administration, virtualization of DeltaV systems, and first‑line troubleshooting for OT and IT infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with global teams and customers to deliver secure, reliable, and fully documented network and cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end project execution from proposal to site acceptance, including system architecture and network/cybersecurity design documentation.
• Design and implement wired/wireless networks, administer Windows servers and DeltaV systems, and virtualize OT environments.
• Provide first‑line support for DeltaV/IT issues, perform FAT with customers, raise and resolve technical queries, and coordinate with overseas offices.
• Support customers via phone, field visits, and remote diagnostics while escalating risks to leads or project managers with mitigation plans.
• Contribute to OT & Cyber team initiatives, develop new solutions, follow IMS/GDP and quality guidelines, and foster a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in networking including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, server and patch management, antivirus, backup/recovery, virtualization, and cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of ISO‑OSI layers, Purdue model, Windows Server 2016/2022, domain and Remote Desktop services, Group Policy, MS patching, and backup tools like Acronis.
• Certifications or equivalent skills at Windows Server/Windows 10 (MCSA level), networking (CCENT/CCNA, Network+), and cybersecurity (Security+).
• Familiarity with antivirus/whitelisting tools, and ideally virtualization (Hyper‑V/HCI), IEC 62443, NMS/NSM/SIEM, data diodes, and industrial protocols such as OPC/Modbus.
• Excellent communication, customer‑facing, and documentation skills with a willingness to travel and take ownership of allocated tasks.
