Job Summary

Virtusa seeks Software Engineers for its L1 Production Support team in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or those with up to two years’ experience, offering an opportunity to work in 24/7 operational environments. Responsibilities include ensuring application and infrastructure stability, incident management, and collaboration across technical teams. The position is a strong foundation for long-term growth in IT operations and support.​

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor application and infrastructure health using monitoring tools.
• Acknowledge, log, and triage incidents, addressing known issues and escalating unresolved ones.
• Respond to alerts, handle job monitoring, and close tickets using ITSM platforms.
• Communicate updates to stakeholders, escalate critical issues, and document procedures.
• Work in rotational shifts, ensuring 24/7 support coverage.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Tech in Computer Science/IT (freshers and up to 2 years’ experience)
• Technical proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, Linux, Networking
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of ITIL and production support workflows (added advantage)
• Ready to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays
