Job Summary

Join the Dell Technologies Software Engineering Development team as Software Engineer 1, contributing to high-quality products and platforms that are changing the world. In this role, you will be involved in designing, developing, and enhancing applications, platforms, and diagnostics, working at the forefront of technology. The position empowers you to collaborate with leading minds, use advanced tools and methodologies, and create software solutions with profound social impact.​

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and architecture of complex systems and software/storage environments
• Prepare, review, and evaluate specifications and test strategies
• Apply programming knowledge to platforms, embedded software, BIOS, CI/CD tools, and device drivers
• Debug and guide teams on coding scalable programs, using written and verbal specs
• Interface with Product Owners and Marketing to build effective user stories
• Deliver customer-facing products utilizing CI/CD tools, Powershell, Python, and frameworks like Install Shield/WIX
• Participate in agile development teams leveraging Scrum or Kanban

Qualifications & Skills

• 0–3 years of software development experience, preferably with a bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in C#/C++, WMI, XML, JSON, WCF, GUI development (XAML, WPF, HTML5)
• Understanding of Windows OS Internals, resource and peripheral management, BIOS/UEFI
• Experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps automation, and story building
• Exposure to MVC, MVVM, MVP patterns, WCF, WPF, Python, PowerShell is a plus
• Deep understanding of software and product development lifecycles
