Job Summary

Optum is seeking Software Engineers to design and develop advanced full-stack solutions that integrate Conversational AI and Contact Center Analytics. The role involves working on scalable backend services, data analysis, and API development to deliver innovative healthcare technologies. You will collaborate with peers, leverage emerging technologies, and contribute directly to health outcomes by optimizing AI-driven customer experiences.​

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack solutions integrating Conversational AI using Google Conversational Insights or similar platforms
• Analyze large conversational datasets for actionable insights to improve customer experience
• Build RESTful APIs, backend services, and data pipelines using Python, Java, and JavaScript
• Optimize prompts for LLMs, work with SQL/NoSQL databases, and maintain ethical AI practices
• Collaborate on Proof of Concepts (POCs) and MVPs, and adapt to rapidly changing requirements in an agile environment.​

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related stream
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and JavaScript
• Experience with DBMS technologies (SQL/NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and data pipelines
• Familiarity with Responsible AI principles
• Adaptability, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a team-driven mindset.​
