Job Summary

As a Software Engineer on the OpenText Business Network team, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale integration solutions within our modern cloud platform. Leveraging Java 1.8+, Spring Boot, and microservices best practices, you’ll collaborate in Agile teams to deliver scalable, high-performance modules. You will research and adopt emerging technologies, integrate third-party frameworks, and ensure adherence to architecture and coding standards. This role offers the opportunity to impact digital transformation projects for top global organizations and contribute to next-generation information management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate as an individual contributor or module owner within Agile project teams
• Analyze system requirements, perform design, coding, testing, and maintenance activities
• Research, evaluate, and prototype new technologies for rapid adoption
• Integrate third-party libraries, frameworks, and services into existing applications
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices and APIs
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and quality standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong Java SE (1.8 and above) development experience
• Proficient with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate
• Hands-on experience building microservices-based architectures
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL
• Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ) and NoSQL stores (Cassandra)
• Exposure to CQRS, cloud deployments (AWS), Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
• Knowledge of Vault or other secrets-management tools is advantageous
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
