Job Summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart and sustainable building technologies, is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer Trainees specialized in Machine Learning and AI. This entry-level role offers recent graduates the opportunity to develop and optimize applications using cutting-edge ML, NLP, Deep Learning, and GenAI technologies. Trainees will work in an Agile environment alongside experienced professionals to build scalable, high-performance solutions and gain exposure to real-world projects and learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain machine learning solutions
• Apply machine learning, NLP, deep learning, and generative AI functionalities to solve problems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, SQL, KQL, etc.
• Create dashboards using PowerApp, PowerBI, and develop user interfaces using React
• Utilize Azure for cloud-based application development and deployment
• Identify, troubleshoot, and debug issues to ensure quality deliverables
• Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives
• Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and best practices
• Apply strong problem-solving skills for innovative solutions

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, BE, B.Tech, MCA, or related field
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, and Azure essential
• Familiarity with Agile and SAFe frameworks is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging skills, and proactive problem solver
• Passion for continuous learning and growth in a fast-paced environment
