Job Summary
The Operations Analyst will manage key functions within ANZ’s 24×7 digital service team, supporting New Zealand contact-centre operations from the Bangalore GCC. This role handles new account requests for residents and migrants, ensuring exceptional customer experiences via phone, online, and email channels. You will collaborate with onshore counterparts to maintain service levels, comply with AML and identification processes, and drive first-contact resolution. As a digital advocate, you’ll upskill across functions to maximize operational capability and flexibility in a night-shift roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise professionally with stakeholders to resolve inquiries or escalate appropriately
- Provide administrative support and generate correspondence to guide customers through account setup
- Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring accurate, up-to-date information
- Record all interactions and documentation with minimal errors, adhering to SLAs
- Comply with customer identification processes and AML obligations
- Demonstrate expertise in ANZ’s digital solutions; educate and problem-solve for customers
- Cross-skill into other functions to enhance team capability and achieve first-contact resolution
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in Accounts, Finance, Management; MBA freshers or 1–2 years’ banking operations experience
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends on a 24×7 roster
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High resilience when navigating multiple systems
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing abilities
- Understanding of digital banking services and solutions
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and growth mindset
