Job Summary

Wipro is hiring fresh graduates for the Trainee – Manual Testing role to work on configuring and testing Wipro’s proprietary Total Benefit Administration System. The role requires knowledge of SDLC, SAS, mainframe concepts, and SQL query writing. The position involves setting up system tables and parameters based on analysis to meet client requirements. This is a full-time position based in Chennai with a night shift from 5:30 PM to 3:00 AM and includes a 12-month service agreement. The interview will be conducted face-to-face at the Chennai Wipro office.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and test Wipro Proprietary Total Benefit Administration System according to client requirements.
• Use proprietary tools and systems to set up and maintain system tables and parameters.
• Write and execute simple to intermediate SQL queries for data analysis and system configuration.
• Participate in system testing, quality assurance practices, and automation testing principles as applicable.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and report progress and issues clearly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / MCA (2024 or 2025 pass out).
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SAS, and mainframe principles.
• Proficient in writing simple and complex SQL queries and understanding relational database concepts (DB2, keys, table relationships).
• Basic understanding of automation testing and software quality assurance methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to decompose complex problems and provide viable solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and a team player with good organizational awareness.
