Job Summary

The Graduate Apprentice Trainee – Sales is designed for recent graduates entering the construction equipment industry. This 1-year program provides hands-on experience in dealer sales operations, product knowledge, and customer relationships with direct exposure to fieldwork and market intelligence. Trainees will support sales activities, learn from senior mentors, and actively participate in building a sustainable future for global transport solutions.​

Key Responsibilities

• Support dealer sales teams in daily activities and field operations
• Forecast monthly sales and track new leads
• Gain detailed product understanding of Volvo equipment
• Participate in customer meetings and site visits
• Build customer relationships and respond to queries
• Collect market intel on competitors and consumer needs
• Help execute marketing and promotional initiatives
• Understand aftermarket services and product support
• Document and share learnings from field assignments

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile) OR Business Management (Marketing/Sales)
• Excellent communication (spoken/written)
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office tools
• Willingness to travel and work on field sites
• Customer-centric attitude, adaptability, and teamwork
• Knowledge of construction equipment applications is an advantage.​
