Job Summary

Swiggy is hiring Associate Software Development Engineers for its Bangalore office, targeting 2024/2025 graduates with a B.Tech in Computer Science or related fields. The role offers hands-on experience with scalable backend systems and exposure to technologies such as Java, Go, Elastic Cache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, DynamoDB, and popular cloud platforms. Candidates will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, and optimize backend services that power Swiggy’s operations.​

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable backend systems
• Write high-quality code using Java and Go
• Utilize technologies (Elastic Cache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, DynamoDB) for backend solutions
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance
• Contribute to designing new features and improving reliability​

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields (2024/2025 graduates)
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Go
• Familiarity with backend concepts and technologies
• Understanding of databases and data modeling
• Enthusiasm to learn Elastic Cache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, DynamoDB
• Problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Git is a plus
• Ability to work well within a collaborative team​
