Job Summary
Ericsson seeks a Junior Test Engineer to handle testing, administration, troubleshooting, and support for customer systems in IT, Telco B/OSS, IP/Core, Cloud, and Network domains. The role involves manual and automated test case design, execution, and defect tracking for functional and non-functional scenarios, often on-site or remotely. Candidates support infrastructure installation, monitoring, optimization, and service assurance as part of a customer-facing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, configuration, monitoring, optimization, and tuning of customer infrastructure.
- Develop IT codes/interfaces, perform unit/function tests, debug faults, design/execute test cases, and log defects in tools like JIRA.
- Provide service assurance, manage trouble tickets, execute data alignment, and ensure end-to-end process quality with KPI monitoring.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2-5 years in Billing/Charging applications, preferably Ericsson Charging, Billing, DMP; knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and tools like JIRA, Selenium.
- Experience with system products, software development, automation testing, and Telco B/OSS environments.
- Skills in troubleshooting, defect tracking, basic coding, and working in customer premises or remotely.
