Job Summary

The Associate Engineer – Deployment Site Reliability Engineer will be a key member of the Global Network Services (GNS) team at Deutsche Bank. This role involves deploying and maintaining complex network infrastructures, ensuring high reliability and performance across multiple regions. The engineer will collaborate closely with global operations teams and contribute to network automation initiatives using modern tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Implement automated network solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve network design and performance.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for deployment processes and network architecture.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure network reliability.

Qualifications & Skills

• Up to 2 years of experience in a corporate global network environment, ideally within financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and network monitoring tools such as Datadog or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VXLAN).
• Experience with hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Fortinet.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code, scripting (YAML, JSON, Python), and Git version control.
• CCNA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset.
