Job Summary
This entry-level Azure/AWS DevOps Engineer – Analyst role at Deloitte USI focuses on supporting cloud and DevOps teams with day-to-day operational tasks. Freshers will learn foundational cloud concepts, assist with basic configuration and monitoring of Azure/AWS resources, and follow standard operating procedures under close mentorship. The position is designed to build strong technical, communication, and professional skills within a collaborative internal services environment in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in routine setup, configuration, and monitoring of Azure/AWS resources under guidance of senior engineers.
- Handle basic user access requests and follow checklists for daily health checks and monitoring dashboards.
- Shadow and document troubleshooting activities for simple cloud issues and support cloud-based deployments.
- Maintain and update documentation such as runbooks, installation guides, and FAQs for cloud operations.
- Learn and practice DevOps basics including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation workflows.
- Participate in trainings, seek mentorship, and promptly escalate problems or unusual findings to responsible team members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 0–1 year of professional experience; internships, projects, or certifications in cloud or scripting are a plus.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and strong interest in Azure or AWS.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills with clear written and spoken English.
- Ability to follow checklists, stay organized, work both independently and in a team, and strong motivation to learn.
