Job Summary
As an Associate Analyst in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance ESC team, you will provide crucial administrative support for audit engagements, focusing on tasks like drafting engagement letters, monitoring compliance, and coordinating client processes. You will work within a highly collaborative shared services environment, delivering quality outputs using Deloitte’s proprietary tools and templates. The role requires strong attention to detail, ownership of deliverables, and the ability to communicate progress effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft engagement letters and manage client acceptance/continuation
- Monitor audit client compliance with SEC independence rules and Deloitte policies
- Coordinate group audits and support various audit tools
- Provide trial balance and financial statement support
- Ensure deliverables meet Deloitte’s quality standards
- Update team leads about project progress and deadlines
- Learn and utilize ESC tools and templates
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (B.Com only)
- 0–1 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Self-motivated with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Good interpersonal and interpretation skills
