Job Summary
Cognitus, an SAP-focused IBM company, is hiring 45 high-performing 2025 B.Tech/B.E. graduates as SAP ABAP Trainees to work on enterprise-grade SAP implementations. This role offers structured 3‑month SAP ABAP training followed by deployment on real client projects, giving hands-on experience in development, customization, and support of SAP solutions. Selected candidates will be based in Mumbai and are expected to build long-term careers in SAP technology within IBM’s wider ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply SAP ABAP concepts to support configuration, customization, and development under guidance from senior consultants.
- Assist in requirement understanding, technical design, coding, unit testing, and documentation for SAP projects.
- Participate in internal trainings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen SAP, programming, and database fundamentals.
- Support project teams with issue analysis, basic debugging, and delivery of enhancements as per client needs.
- Adhere to quality, process, and security standards defined by Cognitus and IBM while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech/B.E. 2025 passout in CSE or allied/computer-related branches with minimum 70% in highest qualification.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, OOPs and at least one language such as Java, plus good database and basic SQL knowledge.
- Unemployed / immediately available, willing to relocate to Mumbai, and comfortable signing a 2‑year employment bond.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn SAP, and clear interest in building a long-term SAP technology career.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and professionalism to perform well in technical and HR assessments.
