Job Summary

Black Box is looking for an AI Intern to support the integration, deployment, and operation of foundational AI models, including Generative AI and language models. The role offers hands-on experience with AI technologies such as Azure AI, GPT, BERT, and prompt engineering within an enterprise context. The intern will collaborate with experienced teams to develop scalable AI solutions, contribute to documentation, and support AI workflows for various business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end AI solutions encompassing data engineering, model integration, backend development, and frontend interface adaptations.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to prepare data for AI models.
• Integrate foundational AI models using Azure AI platforms and retrieval-augmented generation techniques.
• Assist with documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure smooth AI solution handovers.
• Design and implement testing protocols and automated QA workflows to ensure model robustness.
• Manage deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI models in production environments.
• Continuously innovate and learn new AI techniques and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in Python programming for data handling and AI scripting.
• Experience with Azure AI services, Cognitive Services, and deployment tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of backend frameworks such as Flask or Django, and API development.
• Understanding of data engineering, ETL processes, and testing methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, self-driven attitude, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Preferred knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, predictive modeling, frontend frameworks, cloud scalability, and advanced AI concepts.
