Job Summary

The Device Associate – MMPT role at Amazon focuses on manual black-box testing of cutting-edge applications and products on desktop and mobile platforms. You will execute predefined test cases, validate functionality, and ensure high-quality releases by accurately reporting bugs and results. This position suits graduates with strong attention to detail, basic scripting familiarity, and an interest in quality assurance and product testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for software builds on desktop and mobile platforms for Amazon Assistant products.
• Perform regression and repetitive tests to qualify builds while maintaining quality standards.
• Log and report defects accurately, track issues, and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
• Use tools and commands (such as adb) for daily data capture and troubleshooting activities.
• Raise queries and failures in the clarification portal and ensure closure within defined SLAs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Analytics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 0–2 years of experience in QA, testing, helpdesk, IT support, or similar technical/quality roles.
• Familiarity with Windows desktop environment and tools such as Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Firefox.
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies, test case execution, and defect reporting practices.
• Ability to read scripts for basic troubleshooting and interpret technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
