Job Summary

Oracle is hiring System Engineers I in Bengaluru to manage enterprise backup solutions using Cohesity, Dell EMC NetWorker, Isilon, and OCI technologies. This role focuses on implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting backup/recovery operations to ensure business continuity and data protection. Candidates with hands-on experience in these tools will support critical infrastructure for a global cloud leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain backup solutions using Cohesity, EMC NetWorker, and Isilon systems.
• Monitor backup jobs, perform routine operations, and resolve failures promptly.
• Handle data restores while ensuring integrity, security, and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot incidents, develop documentation, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with teams on projects, audits, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Gain exposure to OCI cloud environments and follow data protection best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• 0-2+ years of experience in backup technologies (Cohesity, EMC NetWorker, Isilon).
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency in backup operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English communication skills (read, write, speak).
• Availability for on-call rotations and no visa sponsorship required.
