Job Summary
The Associate Technical Consultant at Adobe works on implementing customer-facing digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and AEM Experience Data Services for enterprise clients. The role involves designing and developing components, forms, and workflows while integrating front-end and Java-based backend logic. Candidates with 0–3 years of experience will gain hands-on exposure to Adobe’s Experience Cloud ecosystem, working in an Agile, collaborative environment with designers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and configuring solutions using AEM and AEM EDS.
- Develop and customize AEM components, templates, client libraries, and workflows.
- Build adaptive and responsive forms using AEM Forms and AEM EDS frameworks.
- Collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, and business analysts to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support data integrations via REST APIs and Java-based backend services.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and assist in application deployments.
- Learn and apply Adobe best practices for performance, accessibility, and security.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of hands-on development experience, including internships or project work.
- Solid understanding of Core Java, Servlets, JSP, OOP concepts, and REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic front-end development.
- Eagerness to learn AEM (Sites, Forms, Assets) and AEM EDS.
- Problem-solving mindset, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Nice to have: exposure to CMS platforms (AEM, WordPress, Sitecore), AEM tech such as Sightly/HTL, OSGi, CRX/CRXDE, tools like Maven, Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and familiarity with JSON schema, XML, or Angular/React.
