Job Summary
This Associate System Engineer role at IBM Consulting is an entry-level opportunity for 2025 engineering graduates to join IBM’s Client Innovation Centers across India. The position focuses on building and supporting software solutions that enable clients’ hybrid cloud and AI journeys, working across the full software development lifecycle. Candidates will operate in a hybrid work arrangement from multiple locations, collaborating with global teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end software development activities including design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support for client applications.
- Analyze and validate issues in existing systems, propose improvements, and troubleshoot failures with guidance from architects and technical leads.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, assess the current technology landscape, and code innovative solutions for hybrid cloud and AI-based projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science or IT-related branches (such as CSE, AIML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, IoT, Robotics, AI, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, etc.) with minimum 6 CGPA/60%, 2025 pass-outs only.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (Java, C++, Python, or Node.js) and solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle concepts.
- No active backlogs, fluent written and spoken communication, good problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work from anywhere in India in a hybrid model.
