Job Summary

The Engineer – Global Service Operations provides troubleshooting support for IP/transmission circuits across products like GPVN, ILL, and IZO-SDWAN in a shift lead capacity. The role demands efficient communication, escalation management, and solution delivery to ensure high levels of service assurance. Candidates will identify problems, suggest improvements, and progressively develop skills in routing, switching, and transmission technologies. The position fosters growth through exposure to advanced troubleshooting scenarios and teamwork, directly impacting service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Layer 2 & Layer 3 routing, switching, SDWAN, and transmission product issues.
• Act as shift lead, guiding team operations and handling escalations.
• Efficiently communicate with stakeholders and manage team operations.
• Ensure timely failover support and escalation handling.
• Seek guidance and advice for quality outcomes; adapt methods and techniques as needed.
• Contribute feedback and inputs on process improvements.
• Manage service assurance processes and support quality results.

Qualifications & Skills

• Engineering graduate (preferably CCNA/CCNP certified).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in IP/transmission domains.
• Basic skills in Layer 2 & 3 routing, switching, SDWAN, and transmission.
• Strong troubleshooting, team handling, and escalation management abilities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to new issues and technologies.
