Job Summary

Prodapt is looking for enthusiastic Software Testing Freshers to join its Quality Assurance team in Chennai. This is an entry-level role perfect for recent engineering or IT graduates who want to start their career in software testing. Freshers will receive exposure to manual and automation testing, work closely with development teams, and contribute to delivering high-quality applications across web and mobile platforms. Applicants will have the opportunity to learn industry tools and modern testing methodologies while working in a collaborative, hybrid work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing manual test cases based on functional requirements.
• Perform regression, functional, and user acceptance testing for web and mobile apps.
• Identify, document, and report bugs using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to validate features and ensure product quality.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and test reporting.
• Learn and apply basic automation testing concepts using Selenium or Postman.
• Support the QA team in maintaining documentation and improving test coverage.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Knowledge of any programming language (Java, Python, or C# is a plus).
• Exposure to Selenium, TestNG, or Postman desirable but not mandatory.
