Job Summary

United Airlines is looking for a creative and analytical Associate Analyst to join the Digital Technology team in Gurugram. In this role, you will participate in data-driven analytics projects that enhance customer experiences, support revenue growth, and drive operational efficiency. You will work closely with large datasets, use tools like SQL, Python, and R, and build dashboards and models for decision-making. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for recent graduates passionate about analytics and technology in the aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in ad-hoc decision support, analytics, and scenario analysis projects
• Gather, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL/Python/R
• Modify and automate reports and dashboards; communicate insights with TIBCO Spotfire and other visualization tools
• Carry out statistical analyses for customer engagement, marketing, and predictive modeling using SQL, R, Python, and SAS
• Take ownership of reporting metrics and structure, and clearly communicate actionable findings to stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Aviation, or related field
• 0–1 year of experience in data querying and manipulation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Competency in SQL and relational databases (Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer)
• Detail-oriented, thorough, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Must be authorized to work in India and fluent in English
• Reliable, punctual, and eager for continuous learning
• Master’s degree is preferred
