Job Summary

Cornerstone is hiring a highly motivated Junior Engineer to join its dynamic Pune team. This entry-level position involves working on cutting-edge technologies such as .NET Core, microservices, REST APIs, React, and SQL databases. The role is ideal for recent graduates or interns eager to learn, grow, and contribute to cloud and AI-powered projects supported by senior teams. You will develop and deploy applications, participate in agile team activities, and collaborate with other engineers and designers in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy applications using .NET Core, C#, and React
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
• Create interactive user interfaces with React
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for designing and querying solutions
• Integrate and deploy cloud-based services (AWS preferred)
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, especially AI
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and design decisions
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
• Collaborate across teams for successful project delivery
• Communicate effectively regarding project updates and requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
• 0–6 months active hands-on experience in C#, .NET Core, and/or React
• Experience in microservices, RESTful APIs, AWS (preferred)
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, NHibernate)
• Strong grasp of OOP, SOLID, and KISS principles
• Exposure to cloud providers and advanced front-end frameworks
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Understanding of Scrum or Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, algorithmic, communication, and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to continuously learn and improve
